@poydras: i might get my tattoo the night before. So not too much time for drinking

How much are the beers from the vendors?

I thought that drinking was pretty much a prerequisite for getting a tattoo.

Not sure, really. The last game i went to was the nfc championship game before our superbowl. So it's been a while.
Many of the bars in the French Quarter (and near by) will sell you a drink in a plastic or foam cup so you can take it with you. So we usually just pop in to a bar and get drinks "to go". When empty, do it again.
