So Roger Goodell was remarkably absent?

Could it be due to this...not sure if this is RG in disguise?

'Beast of Brooklyn' washed up in New York

Mystery surrounds the discovery of a hideous creature washed up under the Brooklyn Bridge in New York.
Dubbed the "Manhattan monster," its ghoulish carcass has a mutilated face, hairless flesh and five human-like fingers at the end of its limbs. The gruesome find has sparked an array of theories as to whether it is a giant water-logged rodent, a cooked pig, a swollen dog -- or something more sinister.
Amateur photographer Denise Ginley snapped the mutant creature while walking along the East River on Sunday.
“We were horrified by it and we took some camera phone pictures," she said. “Then finally we decided to come back with my camera and I got up the courage to climb over the fence and get closer to it.”
Some claim it could be related to the mystery "Montauk Monster," which confounded New Yorkers when it washed up at Ditch Plains beach in the exclusive Hamptons in July 2008.

HA! That coward would never show for that.

NFL: No Goodell, no 50,000 pages of evidence (not 1 page), not one (1) witness from the NFL at today's hearing.

I believe the NFL dropped their biggest bombs already and hit nothing. All they have left is the CBA bunker to fall back on.
It looks like it might hold but if I were them I would seriously consider a truce right now. It would not surprise me if they are entertaining the idea after today.

The way the judge was acting towards the NFL towards the end of the hearing, it might have been her way of subtly encouraging them to do just that. It may have been her way of saying, "I'm not going to rule today, and you may not like how I'm going to rule, in fact neither of you may like it, so I'll give you some time to keep talking and work it out amongst yourselves." Would not be the first time a judge has done something like that.

I hope this ends well for Vilma. I would love a ruling in his favor, but if they could work something out, that works too.

Even though this is just for a restraining order to halt the suspension while the lawsuits are going on...its a huge step for not only vilma but the other players. The judge has serious questions about how this has been interpreted and decided upon...meaning althought the NFL is hiding behind the CBA saying that she has no jurisdiction...it is null and void if she finds that the NFL has violated the CBA with its ruling in the first place.
