... just got back from watching the game at the bar, I was impressed with #39 Travaris Cadet ... what do you guys think, or did I have too much to drink? ... it was awesome for awhile though, every other big screen was women's olympic beach volleyball/HOF game/beach volleyball/HOF game ... I was like, "bikinis, football, beer" ... I thought I died and went to heaven, .

Just got up and saw the 17-10 win. It reads pretty good, seems like the Saints did a good job! After that jerked up off season, his win in that very first game was very important!

I was kinda' thinking along the same lines ... it's still early, but Cadet looked good running between the tackles, catching passes out of the backfield ... looked like he fit right in ... definitely gonna' keep an eye on him the rest of preseason.

Cadet made some nice plays, but unless an injury happens I don't think he makes it. I wish we could keep him on the practice squad, but someone will snatch him. The offense, for a pre season game, looked pretty good until Sean Cant-pass came in. That's never a surprise. I liked the push up front defensively, but wasn't impressed by the secondary. But we know they're not really trying anything special out there, so I couldn't take away much from what I saw there. I'm just glad this one is in the books.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Cadet's rushing was terrible. 6 rushes for -3 yards. But he was the leading receiver 8 for 80.

Really? He ended up with negative yards? ... I thought he did better then that ... I thought I may have been drinking a little heavy tonight, ... geez, first preseason game of the year and I already got to lay off the sauce ...

Too few carries (with scrub O-linemen) to determine whether his rushing sucked or not. |
