Channel?

I don't know whether to feel sympathy or disgust at the number of people who don't have NFL network. Ok, I get that not everybody has DirecTV, and I don't know how much more it costs on Dish Network......but for you cable folks...what is it, an extra $ 5 a month?? I know times are lean and all that jazz, but you can't tell me having NFL Network wouldn't be worth an extra 60 bucks a year. In fact, I had a co-worker one time who'd simply add NFL network around football season and have it taken back off after the season, so she wasn't even paying that 5 extra for an entire year.

Heck, even 10 extra a month would be worth it.

Some people have given up Cable TV entirely.
At my house, decent Cable internet is about $60
Cable TV with packages required to have NFL Network brings my bill to approx. $160 a month.

With loan defaults, foreclosures, job loss etc. affecting EVERYONE, many people are not able to afford the extra $100 a month.

My $60 cable internet comes with basic cable TV including ESPN, but no HD tv. That's the only option some can afford, unfortunately.
