And the radio guys talked about this right before the game.
Never read too much into a pre-season game good or bad. Individual match-ups are more telling. Our guys were flying all over the field, were agressive and for the most part looked fine to me. The occasional big gainer in pre-season doesn't worry me as much as getting gashed on every play. I thought our run defense looked solid for the most part. |

I must say C-Lo looked better in coverage than he did with us, maybe the weight loss did help him!?

It's not just you. It is hard to miss a player constantly looking bad. That long run they had on outside, Shanle was so locked up it was sad. The guy is JUNK!!!

LB's looked good I thought, except Shanle. Pressure looked decent from the front four. Still gave up some big plays, but preseason has a long way to go so we'll see.

SHANLE NEEDS TO PAY-TO-PLAY.
Simple as that. He's NOT earning whatever we are paying him. Period. There is absolutely NO excuse for him to remain a part of this team once cuts are made. Alaska |

We did relatively well with our DE's play. We may need another major player in the DT rotation. I didn't see very much push from the middle of the D-line. We don't collapse a pocket with pressure up the middle. The QB's just got rattled and could have stayed in the pocket much more often than they did.

our run defense is good, its going to let some guys by for a few yards every now and then, but last night it wasnt near about as bad as it has been.

I'd be happy if we could get a 7th round pick for shanle, man whatever scheme he's in, everybody else is flying around and he just stands there lost
