Would you consider consider converting Junior Gallette
He is an awesome LB don't get me wrong his issue is usually health related. But we have so many LB's vying for playing time and a glaring whole at the other DE spot with Will Smith, Cam Jordan coming down inside the tackles......It seems to be working so far for Martez, as many athletes on the field as possible!!!!!

Re: Would you consider consider converting Junior Gallette
If we were playing a 3-4, he would be a good choice to make a move to a 3-4 rush OLB. But, we don't. I'm not sure I'd want him covering anyone and we now have a solid group of linebackers across the board.
In our 3rd and long packages, Wilson would be better suited to move back outside to get as many rushers on the field as possible. He has the size and speed to cover too. |

Re: Would you consider consider converting Junior Gallette
Galette is a DE and has never played in any of the LB positions with the Saints as far as I know.
He is best suited to be an edge rusher, but he still needs to work on his gap control and containment in order to be a reliable 3 down DE, IMO. If you meant Casillas... no, I would certainly not consider moving him to any other position than an OLB, because that is where his body type and skill set are best suited to. |

Guessing he's too slow-footed to be a LB and that's why he's playing DE...
And I'm beginning to think he's too small to start at DE in the NFL... |
