By Chris Pika, June 21, 2004; 7:50 pm NewOrleansSaints.com You can vote for the "River City Relay" to win an 2004 ESPY Award for Best Play. The 75-yard last-play TD pass from Aaron Brooks to Donte' Stallworth, Michael Lewis, Deuce McAllister and Jerome Pathon at Jacksonville captured the 2003 NFL Play of the Year. The winners for each of the categories will be selected by the fans via ESPN.com and league site voting. Polls will close July 9 and the winners will be announced during the ESPY Awards on July 14 and on the ESPN telecast on July 18 at 8 pm CT. Vote for the River City Relay for the ESPY Award
I can\'t remember, in my entire life, ever being so happy for a three minute span of time only to have it followed by intense, searing anger. In retrospect, I do not blame, nor feel any ill will toward Carney (we shouldn\'t have needed an extra point to stay in the game), but immediately after that missed PAT, my primal urges toward that man involved a pair of pliers and a blowtorch. :mad2: Although I should admit, watching AB throw that downfield block put hearts back in my eyes for his lanky azz. .02 |
