The Chamberlain injury really hurts. If nothing else it means we'll have to suffer through endless Scott Shanle hate posts again all season long.

Casillas can't play SAM but Herring has been looking good at SAM. There is some hope for him to grab the start over Shanle but not much. One thing that Shanle does well is stay healthy, usually because he's nowhere near the play. Not saying I wish injury on anyone, because I never would, but would anyone be upset or disappointed if Shanle got injured? (lol)

Hawthorne has the SAM locked up...

No, because if he is starting that means there is nobody better behind him to take his place. He might be the smartest kid in the retard class type of thing.

Hawthorne plays WILL, Shanle starts at SAM with Herring as the back up. Casillas is in a battle with Hawthorne.



According to scouting reports done by PFF Shanle has been one of the worst starting LBs over the last 4 years. We have had people like Humber, Casillas and Dun-Bar who all have graded out better then him at every aspect of the game.
