Shanle just keps showing up. Like the Eveready Bunny.
The only thing he lacks is speed, quickness, change of direction, ... The way things are going, he may be the only LB left standing. We all have to admit, 7yds a carry is impressive. That becomes mute if you turn right around and give the ball away at 10%. I love Ivory, but he may be good barter for another decent linebacker. At Ivory's current rate, he would be good to a turnover almost every other game. Over the course of the season, that's 8 TOs. EIGHT! That's a lot for one guy. |

Ivory has had 4 fumbles in 18 regular season games with the Saints... He had 3 in the first 6 games of 2010 then it went away for the most part. I cant gig him on the fumble in preseason against the Texans (only one this preseason)... any more than I can gig Piere Thomas for fumbling in the 49ers game... When you hit a wall you drop things. I was actually waiting for Chris Tucker to run on the field after Ivorys hit. |
