Many people in my section of the Dome said the same thing, it sure looked like a play that would be blown dead in a "normal" game.

Re: OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD: Texans at Saints

Barring the the turnovers and some of the officiating calls i was happy with that performance.
The defence step up from recent weeks.Hicks looks a beast.
The big questions have to be whats going to happen at WR.Toon hasnt stepped foot on the field and it would be harsh to cut Morgan or Arrington, but you dont want to be cutting a promising 4th rounder.
Same thing can be said with the backs.Cadet has been fanatastic and no way does he end up on the practice squad, but if we keep him what do we do with Ivory. His running was decent tonight but again with the fumbles and his well documented injury history.

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

He caused issues with the Texans line when he played, got a couple of tackles and a sack.
Bunkley looks a great pick up aswell, while he not going to get many sacks his presence in the line should get enough double teams for others to make use of.

The offense is great. Brees, Colston and Graham can only be stopped by themselves. The RB's are 6 deep with Banyard showing skills. Henderson is looking very solid. Morgan has the skills to be a playmaker. The defense has some issues. Health at LB. Shanle will start again. Inconsistent at CB. Greer needs to be healthy. The DLine is getting more pressure but not looking good against the run. Jenkins and Harper take some bad angles at times.

And Vilma, Hawthorne, Humber, and Sproles.

When your starting MLB is a back-up WLB who's built like a strong safety, you're gonna likely get mauled up the middle and struggle with blown assignments.

Re: OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD: Texans at Saints

Didn't like Jonathan Casillas' play at all; he got caught over-pursuing, often leading to some run gashes...

But we were thin at all LB positions...

Get the feeling this was a little more than preseason?
