i participated in a poll on espn on who the best running back in the league was and deuce only got 2.2% of the votes behind faulk holmes, tomlinson, even clinton portis. he gets no respect |

I have to agree with you on this one Pakowitz. Deuce is vastly underrated and only the die hard Saint fans along with all of our opponnents which deuce ran crazy on truly appreciate how good he is. I dont care people can talk bout how good our line is, but you notice when Deuce hits a pile that it moves 3 more yards before he pops out for another couple of yards. Im certainly not saying he is the NFL MVP because as much as I hate the Falcons and Vick, he truly is the MVP of his team and the League. Deuce is certainly in the top 3 RB\'s in the League. To miss a game because of injury and play one one leg last week, well he has more heart than most people I know. Deuce For President 2004!!!! As long as he stays a Saint!!!!

I think it is a lot like the Tampa Bay vs. New Orleans game on Sunday night .
The announcer in the booth , call Charles Grant - Joe Johnson . If the Saints do not get the prime time , they do not get the players noticed . |

One thing to keep in mind - Deuce has only been a starter for 12 games. Faulk didn\'t get respect until he went to St. Louis and he had been in the league for years. Deuce will get the respect he deserves in due time. He needs to keep playing like he is and lock up the NFC rushing title. A trip to the pro bowl and probably most importantly, a Saints team that is a consistent contender will put him in the spotlight.

That\'s what I was gonna say Who Dat. Duece gets props now, but he\'ll get more press as things move along for him. Personally, I could care less what the press says or doesn\'t say. First they slap us down. Then they high-five us. Winning and Super Bowl\'s make those things happen.......
