Man I'm lucky! Had electricity back Thu. afternoon and cable last night. I went to Home Depot Thu and bought $50 worth of batteries and L.E.D. lights. When I got home the juice was already back on.

Great news and now you guys can start drying out, :lol: ... so do you take the batteries/LEDs back for a refund or save 'em possibly for next year?

I had some family hit hard, but most did ok.... Their news is starting to make it up to me now. I hope everyone else who has family down there is doing well.

My power just came back! I'm fine but my brother's house in Slidell took on 10 ft of water. They had to be evaced by boat.
