I have been taking abuse for years from non-Saints fans about my unnatural love of this team. I now live out of state, in Panthers country, and proudly wear my Saints hats, shirts, sweatshirts ect…
It never fails that people will ask me “Why are you a Saints Fan�. (Good question actually )–
I became a Saints fan in the late 70’s and early 80’s so it was not because they were winners. I became a Saints fan because they gave the effort each week even though they were likely to lose. Each win was like a playoff victory.
Some how I feel like this Saints squad does not have the same heart or desire.
And while I still love the Saints I want to see more fire and desire out of this club.
Does anyone see hope of a return of emotion to this Saints team or are they too “Professional� – Kyle Turley was a nut but he was a warrior and for that alone I miss him.
