My notes from texans/saints game - Just watching now
As i mentioned earlier in the week, i didn't get to watch the game saturday and i'm just watching it now, just wanted to post somethings i saw from the game
If Pat Robinson can make andre johnson (arguably best wr in the league) work like that for every catch, then pat is not going to be easy to go up against for many WR's this year. He was step for step with andre every play, contested every throw, andre is just a great WR, he couldnt make it look easy against Pat though. If Malcolm jenkins stopped diving at peoples feet, he'd be awesome. The first time malcolm jenkins stays on his feet, gets low and delivers the hit what happens? O yeah the texans wide receiver fumbles, that should go to show he just needs to play smarter. Cameron Jordan looks like he's on a mission, i've heard he lost some weight to get faster, it looks to have worked, he manhandled texans tackles all night. Ivory needs to keep that ball high and tight, he may or may not have been able to do anything about the fumble, but on all his other runs he keeps the ball away from his body - asking for trouble there Offense - pretty much what i expect to see out of them, minus the fumbles - its great joe morgan wanted to fight for the yards, but at some point you have to get down when the texans are trying to rip the ball. Joe vitt said he wanted graham to be better after the catch, i think its working Graham caught a 10 yard floater pass and turned into a 40 yard plus catch, pushing texans defenders out the way (shockey vs miami 2009) Special mention - SCOTT SHANLE!!! for nearly making me have a heart attack when he came flying into the backfield Scrub refs - First word is all they are, scrubs, They penalized scott shanle for a PI call that was never there, which gave the texans the TD instead of 4th down and then missed the exact same call when it happened to colston |

Put in some decent refs and the game would've looked a bit different for sure. Put in some more starting LB's and it would've changed even more. It seemed like they were out of position quite a bit. It was kind of a feast or famine thing for Jenkins. The feast part gives me a lot of hope. I loved that shot of Drew on the sidelines coaching the young guys after that fumble.

Vitt needs to make anyone who fumbles do "The Program"... Ball in hand 24/7 who ever brings it to coach gets a night with Goodells wife.

On paper it looks like an average night at best, but watching the game you can see he's about to explode. Didn't he also miss a week or two of practice? |

I have my doubts if we can go 13-3 after seeing that.......maybe 12-4. But that's it!

I see a very possible 13-3 season. We are gonna take it to some teams this season. The chip in our shoulder is gonna be huge. And we're playing for coach! I see 12-4 at worst
