... I agree and you would think they have to look no further then the Saints to see what an effective running game combined with an outstanding passing attack can do for you, but they seem to have missed on the second half of the
"Pass to Score, Run to Win" philosophy. I've seen plenty of interviews with the H/C & GM, where while they openly admit they're attempting to follow the Patriots/Saints template, they just feel they're primarily going to pass and the running game is mainly there as a distraction and the occassional third-and-short situation ... it's short-sighted and a strategy I
totally disagree with and always point to the Saints offense as an example of what I think the Lions offense potentially could, or should, be. All's I can think is that after years of having Barry Sanders and not winning a thing, they've decided to move in a different direction ... but all that was mismanagement, not Barry's fault, the Lions need a back like PT and need to stop shopping at the Bargain Basement for their RB's ... alright, enough Lions' Insider information, I still think we're gonna' see a Saints/Lions NFC Championship here in a season or two and can't reveal all their weaknesses,.

... Suh is next in line to be 'franchised' by the team, so there won't be too much dangling going on, plus, they're pretty high on the kid ... personally, if it was me, I'd do that trade, or something similiar, maybe sprinkle in some draft picks either way, yada, yada, yada ... I'm telling you guys, don't get sold on the hype, Suh is overrated ... Fairley is the guy you'd want in a trade for a defensive down lineman ... he's gonna' be bigger then Suh, mark my words.

... in a heartbeat, Crusader, in a heartbeat ... besides, New Orleans would actually find a true NFL'er with that pick, whereas Detroit has a hard time spotting those 'diamonds-in-the-rough' that are still left that late in the draft.
