He had the best hands, and like all Bum Phillips TE's, he was a world class blocker, but... the man could not run upright after a catch.... untouched, he would founder like a drunk in a windstorm. I called him "Hoby Wobbles But He Does Fall Down." You gotta be old to get that. fun fact: Hoby was All Pac 10 in 1980. |
