Pre-camp Prognostication
My optimistic 2 cents (or wishfull thinking??)... Defense- 1. Watson wins the MLB position, will start game 1. 2. Grant moves to WLB, but doesn't start ahead of Rodgers yet. 3. Hodge makes big strides (it is a contract year) and holds off an improving Allen. 4. Craft and Brown impress, but still behind Ambrose and Thomas. 5. Bellamy holds off a 99% recovered Mitchell, for now. 6. Kenny Smith gets traded for a quality CB before week 1. 7. Tony Bryant recovers fully and takes the last DE spot. 8. Bockwaldt impresses but goes to PSquad. 9. Leisle looks great, fans call for Sully to sit. Offense- 1. JT O'Sullivan becomes the new Jake Delhomme with an awesome pre-season. 2. Stecker looks so-so, fans call for better back-up to Deuce. 3. Tavian Banks and Ronny Jenkins both look good, but get cut. 4. Crowell impresses and makes teamas 4th WR. 5. Gardner fails to impress and gets PSquaded again. 6. Pathon gets traded if one of our DT's don't. 7. Stinchcomb looks good, but still gets bashed on forums. 8. Boo wins #1TE, we end up keeping 4 with Conwell, Hilton and Hall. 9. Michael Lewis looks like 2002 version, makes team. [Edited on 22/7/2004 by Danno] |

Pre-camp Prognostication
Here\'s how I see it:
Defense- 1. Will Smith does average, and he\'ll work in a lot with Grant and Howard 2. Cie Grant\'s past injuries catch up with him, and he misses seious PT. He\'ll be the first to drop out of the MLB race. 3. The Hodge/Allen race isn\'t decided until the end of preseason, but Hodge wins it because of experience. 4. Craft beats out an aging Ambrose for the 2nd CB spot. Brown is still the 4th CB. 5. Mitchell pulls off an amazing performance in camp, but the race will remain tight. 6. Bockwaldt gets cut. 7. Leslie will become the #3 DT on the depth chart. Offense- 1. O\'Sullivan will move up the depth chart and overtake Bouman at the #2 spot for QB. 2. Crowell has an adequate camp and will be the 3rd receiver. 3. Pathon doesn\'t do well and falls on the depth chart. 4. Karney and Dan Curran will fight for a roster spot, and Gash is a shoo-in to get cut. 5. Hilton doesn\'t have a good performance, and goes to the P-squad. 6. Boo easily takes the #1 TE spot over Conwell. |
When it comes to discussing Saints losses, Jack Daniels can be a great listener.

Pre-camp Prognostication
Defense-
1. Brown has impact preseason and beats out Ambrose and Craft 2. Rocky start for Mitchell but makes great strides by preseason end. Does just enough to win spot back. 3. Allen beats out Hodge Offense- 1. Curren will be cut 2. Conwell is the starter and Hilton makes the race close with boo 3. Pathon hold off the rest and keeps his third spot Special Teams 1. Carney misses a field gold and heated conversation happens on black and gold forums 2. Stecker beats out Lewis for returner and Lewis future looks grim. |

At school, my nickname is The Mighty Duck. Duck is also my last name... And I loved the Mighty Ducks movies when I was younger. Those movies ROCKED! |
