this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Ah - you\'re right, something needs to be done on Rampart and down at that end of Canal. Armstrong Park is shady, but could be great. I concur, that\'s a great site....

Blanco floats proposal for new stadium
BATON ROUGE -- Gov. Kathleen Blanco said Thursday that the New Orleans Saints seem receptive to her proposal to combine a new riverfront stadium with the expansion of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and she hopes to meet with team owner Tom Benson soon to talk about how much money he could put into the project.
