this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Denver has about a million running backs. You think they might try to trade Mike Anderson to the fins? He\'s more of a power back than some of the others....

IMOP I think the dolphins should not rush and try to solve this problem by signing Trung Canidate, Curtis keaton or make a trade w/ Vikings or any other team. Sam Morris & Travis Minor are not bad players. I will just rush by committee.
I am just happy that this is the dolphin problem & not ours |

Does this change the minds of all of those doubters out there that thought trading Ricky was a bad move? I was happy to see him traded, because I thought that Deuce could be a great back. Well, Deuce proved me and several others to be correct. Ricky once again proved himself to be not all there. If he had done this still as a member of the Saints, I would have hunted Mike Ditka down, drug him deep into the woods, and covered him in honey for all the bears to find him. Thank goodness the Saints had some kind of foresight to get rid of him while they had the chance. What a FREAK!!!!

He\'s a loser. He got his childish little feelings hurt when they busted him for pot (the 2nd time) and basically says...
\"If I can\'t smoke my pot I\'ll just quit\" My guess is he knows another failed test was gonna surface soon and he was going to be suspended for a year anyway. So why not quit for a year or two, avoid the re-test (that he knew he would fail), smoke some serious doobage, and come in clean in 2005 or 2006? |

I think the pot in this issue is a bunch of smoke and hot air.
(tee hee) Seriously, I think Ricky\'s gay. He doesn\'t fit the profile of a typical drug/alcohol abuser, but he does fit the profile of someone who needs drugs and alcohol to cope with a part of his personality that he can\'t show. Think about it- the shyness, the personality quirks, the love of shopping, he\'s been hiding from himself for years. I think he either got sick of it, or he met someone, but he can\'t come out while he\'s still playing. So he retires, disappears, and explores this whole side of his personality he\'s been repressing for god knows how long. I could be wrong. The guy had a ton of miles on his tires before Ditka drafted him, and his love of the game has always been shaky at best. Who knows, but that\'s my take. Peace. |
It\'s not a question of whether or not the Saints will win the Super Bowl this year. It\'s a question of which Saint will be the MVP of the game.

Well my take on it was wow, what a shock. Totally blew me away. But.... the more I though about it.....
Is that guy a loser? A wimp? No heart? Hell no. That guy is smart. He\'s made millions of dollars. He\'s already proven himself. He\'s already earned more success in life than most of us ever dream of achieving. So he has to ask himself a question. Do I still enjoy what I\'m doing? Do I want to do this, for myself? If yes, great, then stay with it, and set some records. Obviously.... But if not, what then? Stay with it? Because that\'s what\'s expected? Now -that- would be a loser, a wimp, no heart. So screw \'em, I\'m outta here, I\'ll take my money, my health, my youth, my family, and I\'ll enjoy the rest of my life.... Doing what pleases me. Not what pleases you. I feel bad for the Miami fans, I really do. They have to deal with a really awful bum rap. Two first round picks.... I was in a bar when the news broke, sitting next to two Miami fans, they were just dumbstruck. \"There goes the season\" one of them said. Man, were they bummed out. And I can\'t blame them. That was a low blow. But I have to say, in spite of myself, that I salute that strange dude for doing what pleases HIM (and his family) as opposed to what it -expected- of him, by total strangers. That guy\'s no loser. |
can anyone help me id this tune? it goes thwap thwap boom tch boom tch boom tch.

Contracts in the NFL mean almost nothing. Every year you hear about players holding out for more money. Every year you also hear about players being cut as \"salary cap victims\". Neither of those is right, but it happens all the time.
