I\'d have to take Walter Payton. He\'s still the game\'s greatest ever at running back. He was also the Bears\' backup kicker.

Pretty good list bayouking. I\'d probably disagree w/ you on running back, and go w/ Barry Sanders. Bo Jackson probably could have been the best running back ever, if he\'d have concentrated on football instead of multi-sports.

I\'d go with Montana on offense and Singletary on defense. Who better to mold your team around than those two guys?

Mine would have to be Jim Brown. If this guy would have played another 4 or 5 years no one would have ever touched his records.

Just think if Bo Jackson didn\'t get hurt....hmm...I don\'t think their will be any comparison to who the best running back. The guy had size, speed, power & agility. Outrun corners, run over linebackers, and DT will be lucky just to touch him.

Just think if the Lions had let Barry Sanders out of his contract so he could play 4 more years. Or think if they had ever build a line worth a sh_t. It took Emmitt two or three years after Barry retired to catch him. Emmitt played with a ton of weapons and a great o-line. Barry was THE weapon and played with a terrible line. I think if you had reversed the situations, Emmit Smith would have been nothing special and Sanders would have 30,000 yards rushing.
