About the Ochsner Saints Back to Football 5k
The Saints Back to Football 5k will unite both runners and football fans alike and welcomes participants of all abilities as to help celebrate the kickoff the 2012 Saints season and begin the journey to Super Bowl XLVII. In anticipation for your team’s success, pull out that jersey; lace up your running shoes and register to show your team spirit on September 8th!

Kids Play 60 Mile Fun Run
Fun for the whole family! The Saints Back to Football 5k will include an NFL “Play 60” Half Mile Fun Run for Kids. The entire family is invited to celebrate a healthy and active lifestyle while sharing their home-team pride with the mile distance option.

Corporate Challenge
Are all of your friends Saints Fans? Do you want to get your whole company involved? When you register for the 5k, you have the option of creating your own Saints Fan 5k Race Team. Simply create a team registration when you sign up and invite all of your friends to join. All teams with greater than 20 members when online registration closes will receive a $5 refund* on their entry fee. A prize will be awarded to the fastest team (based on a minimum of 5 runners) and the largest team, so come out and show your support for the Saints!

Saw this and just wanted to make sure all you guys see it, ya'll might still be able to do it if interested.

If its done next year too I will be there to run it and then maybe we could have a Blackandgold.com team? How awesome wouldn't that be?

Oh and the finish line is on the 50yd line in the Superdome. Just being able to step on that field would make it totally worth it.
