Re: 10 Rushing Attempts/52 Pass
I love all of the Saints RB's, but giving them one play and taking them out is ridiculous. PT deserves the carries. Plus, he's the best screen guy. Let the RB's try and establish some type of rhythm.

Re: 10 Rushing Attempts/52 Pass
I hate to say it but that was exactly the kind of game situation where you really need to put the whole team on Pierre's shoulders for a while, and let him carry the team, let him get you back in the game by moving the chains and physically pounding it out for a few first downs and running some screens, showing his veteran leadership and calming people in the huddle down, just put one foot in front of the other, fall forward, move the pile -- that's how you start digging yourself out of the hole. Instead they kept passing incomplete 3 and out.

I thought Sean Payton was at home. If you fall behind in the 1st qtr, you don't have to catch up until the end of the 4th. Establish our game and spread the wealth like we do it. Run the ball; Let Drew dink-and-dunk, once the linebackers tighten up, then go down field. 52 and 10. I wonder if Kromer and Carmichael are kicking their own butts? Wondering how did our game plan turn into this POS? |

Re: 10 Rushing Attempts/52 Pass
I like what Kromer said in his press conference. It's hard to follow your gameplan with the offensive penalties putting you in bad situations. Hard to keep running facing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and longs. Not too mention getting behind on the scoreboard

Re: 10 Rushing Attempts/52 Pass
PT needs 10+ touches a game.
Period. Our offense is that much better when we make sure that happens. |
