As it turns out, perhaps letting Meachem go was a mistake. He drew lots of attention and worked well in our offensive schemes. After Henderson left the game with injury, we had no speedsters (except Sproles).

I feel this is going to be a looooooooong season. I'm already eyeing the paper bags. Sigh.

I don't think anybody wanted to lose Meachum. I think it was more of a salary cap issue. With Colston and Brees' contracts up too, somebody was going to pay one of them more than we could.

You're right though, he's definitely missed.

Still a lot of season left.
Of course we did start 0-1 last season, and didn't look very good in the 1st game either.

Would like just enough to get home field advantage for the playoffs...

10 and all the tie-breakers for other teams in the playoff would be fine.

RG3 is going to be a great one. The kids got it all.

How many teams could play as badly as we did yesterday and still come within one play of winning the game? Let's not forget that this was the first time Kroemer has ever been the head man at any level. If he's as sharp as everyone says he is he'll learn from yesterdays mistakes and be better next week.
