I have yet to read the post where someone says the season is over. If I had I would say they're ridiculous. The reason for the outrage had everything to do with the circumstances. There was never a time in the history of football that a team had more reason to come out and whoop the crap outta someone, or at least win against an inferior team.

The Saints have a long history of letdowns, which have led to some of the most bewildering, head scratching losses. There was no reason for a letdown this time. But they looked lifeless from the opening kickoff, and that is the reason for all the disappointment. I'm over it personally, as I have more important things to worry about that tend to remind me, after I've had some time to cool off, that life does in fact go on and it's not the end of the world. I just don't understand why so many people are surprised at the reaction to what was a really bad game.

In hind sight... There has never been a team that has so much exhausting and distracting BS go one at a time when 31 other teams were focused on being ready for the season...

ALL of the off season shenanigans took a mental toll... Too much mental stress takes a physical toll..
