12th man picks up Honey Bunny!
Is that you Honey Bunny? Now that I have your undivided attention.
I have tried to hug it out of you but that isn't working so... Zip your trap and listen to reason. You are acting like you became a Saints fan last July! We are the New Orleans Saints and anyone that has been a fan for more than two seasons knows a few things. 1. We drop games we should never drop EVERY YEAR.... This is just a fact. 2. On occasion we make QBs look like Gods... This is just a fact. 3. We have games that all of our receivers have stone hands. We do it at least once a season... ALWAYS HAVE!!!!! Stop thinking week 1 was anything more than what it was. Who called for Sean Payton's termination after the Rams, Seattle, Tampa Bay? Not a damn person in these forums. Actually we did better against Washington than we did in some of those games. There is absolutely nothing that has happened out of the normal yet this regular season. Stop being a Honeybunny |

Re: 12th man picks up Honey Bunny!
I have yet to read the post where someone says the season is over. If I had I would say they're ridiculous. The reason for the outrage had everything to do with the circumstances. There was never a time in the history of football that a team had more reason to come out and whoop the crap outta someone, or at least win against an inferior team.
The Saints have a long history of letdowns, which have led to some of the most bewildering, head scratching losses. There was no reason for a letdown this time. But they looked lifeless from the opening kickoff, and that is the reason for all the disappointment. I'm over it personally, as I have more important things to worry about that tend to remind me, after I've had some time to cool off, that life does in fact go on and it's not the end of the world. I just don't understand why so many people are surprised at the reaction to what was a really bad game. |
