Heading to Charlotte this Sunday

Will be tailgating with fellow WhoDats before the game, and looking forward to sitting in the same area with them in the stadium. Will be with fellow Alum from Brother Martin (and others).

Hope to have a "quiet crowd" for the home team, and a WhoDat beatdown of the Kitty Kats.

We'll see. I hope to submit a good news post-game summary.

I lived in Charlotte and it is a great city. Their fans are actually some of the best rivals we could have. Most are accommodating and classy. Also they are some of the most fair weather fans you will ever meet. Charlotte is a very corporate town so companies like BOA and Wachoia buy up a huge chunk of the tickets and give them away to clients who are usually in from out of town. I have been to about 10 games there and every one of them there have been more of the opposing teams fans there than Panties fans. Im sure you will have a great time. For fun if you have time go to Thomas street and hit Thomas street tavern and some other bars around there.

Nice place, and enjoyed the game I went there back when we had that Kerry "vodka" Collins. Was treated well, I just hope with the bounty crap fans have on us. They just dont go over board with it and cause a fight.

The stadium is really nice. If you have to take a crap they have private bathrooms where you can go and a big screen TV so you can watch the game while you grow a monkey tail.

Re: Heading to Charlotte this Sunday

I actually attended a game at Bank of America stadium for the final regular season game (2009 season, week 17) during our Super Bowl run. We lost the game, and the media gave the "bla, bla, bla" on how no team had ever lost 3 in a row going into the postseason and won it all in the end.

Yes, Charlotte is a nice sports town. I even took a photo in front of the Sam Mills statue at the front of the stadium.

I hope we have our "A-game" going on Sunday.

Weather for Sunday afternoon:

Temps in the high 70's, winds less than 10mph; partly cloudy with very slim chance of any shower in the vicinity.

Sounds like a great day for football!

Re: Heading to Charlotte this Sunday

I'm heading to Charlotte for the game as well. (Taking three kids with me so wish me luck!)

Anyone know which station carries the game locally? I'd like to be able to listen to the broadcast while in the stands.
