In a flash on Wednesday, New Orleans Saints receiver Joe Morgan, who was sitting at his locker half-dressed, was swarmed by a throng of local media. With injuries to veteran receivers Devery Henderson and Adrian Arrington, Morgan suddenly finds himself thrust into the spotlight.
Unless there is a change in health or the Saints' roster before Sunday's game at Carolina (0-1), the speedy Morgan could be lined up as the third receiver, a spot that didn't look all too likely a couple of weeks ago in the preseason when Morgan was considered on the bubble. Re: New Orleans Saints receiver Joe Morgan could have a bigger role
Well he's got the 1st game jitters out of the way. I expect big things from him.

He just needs to catch the damn ball when thrown his way. If he has a couple of drops this weekend, I say we activate Andy Tanner off of the PS.

If we establish a run game, joe Morgan will find himself running free behind the safeties
Run the ball and work the crossing patterns, Morgan will eventually get open deep |

If the offense gets clicking and the other receivers catch the ball, Morgan will get his opportunities

We picked up carmelo. Clearly shows we not trusting morgan 100%AA to injured reserve. Could be the reason also.

Exactly what I said in another thread.I also said I think Camillio will be a real surprise for us. He stepped in late in preseason and put up a very good showing. He worked out with Brees in SD so they obviously have chemistry.

Don't let the skills of Camillio fool you. Maybe he never was a great receiver but he was decent. Take his accumulated knowledge and sync it up with a great QB and I could see him having some monster games.
