Payton speaks about Panthers game. He says stuff

Sean Payton said New Orleans Saints will handle coming back from loss the 'right way' - New Orleans Saints Football NFL News - NOLA.com

"You feel like you're watching your own family members so when they experience a loss, it's frustrating," Payton said. "I think it's more frustrating when you're just sitting back afar from a couch watching."
He said he feels removed from the team and yet he feels so close to the situation at the same time. So Payton understandably watched last Sunday's game with the keen eye expected by a coach and with the heart of an adoring fan.
"I sat down with a pad and paper and watched the game," Payton said. "Just started eating a bunch of junk food in the fourth quarter when they were losing."

I want our god damned coach back.

I don't get why people keep saying that about Kromer. Payton would abandon the run too early consistently. That was most peoples biggest gripe about Payton.

Splain something to me pretty please.

How do you "abandon the run too early", and end up with the #6 rushing offense?

Really. Amazing huh. Im surprised he doesn't demand Payton submit written notices from the Dish Network stating he no longer has a subscription.

That Sonofa***** set our franchise back about 4 years. About the window we would have had to continue to be an elite team with Brees at the helm.

Im not saying I necessarily believe that was the case, just than people would gripe about that constantly. And I do remember several times he abandoned the run too early. Not so much last year but he has. I see your point though. I concede.

I am noticing a pattern here...

First it was the plays Coach uses with his son's team, being the same plays he uses with the Saints, and being written on wrist bands.

Now he's sitting on his couch watching the game and taking notes on paper, that will end up in his garbage.
