Oh ye of little faith. I refuse to believe the Saints won't bounce back. Even if they don't, they have always showed faith and love for their fan base and we need to return the faith and love. They have a lot to deal with this year. Let's show them some support. Who Dat?!!!

If the coin were flipped, and the Saints ran off after Katrina how would we feel? If they did nothing but *****, moan and cry to the media about their dome being in bad shape... how would we feel?

We owe them a little more loyalty.

Bottom line, Defense is in transition.....it will take time and yes at the expense of some wins. If anyone thought we would be 13-3 or 12-4 then I want some of what you are smoking. Offense can't SOLELY carry the team but from what I see and read, people expect them to. Gonna be an up and down year, when we right the ship and the defense buys into Spag's program we'll be fine. Please keep the faith and except it for it is.

Drew Brees has nobody to blame but himself for what is beginning to look like an off year for him. He even went as far as to say words to the effect that people coming and going and people holding out for the most they could get on what may be their last big contract was part of the game.

QB's looking bad because of lack of protection is also part of the game. Drew...you have to take the bad with the good.

Starting to look like Brees can't and won't be blamed for crap. People bad mouth the defense and even call out players and coaches. However you place any blame on Brees people are called bandwagoners and told to put on Vikings jerseys. However it's just not the defense, the offense including Brees has to step up big time

1. You are entitled to your opinion.. That would be the title of this thread I am going to presume. I am entitled to mine... That would be my first reply. So its a wash.

2. When you blame 1 man out of 11... See the problem there?

3. If the defense could make someone punt, the offense would not have to play every game like it is the Super Bowl.

4. When our offense is 3rd in the league and our defense is 32nd... I have trouble laying too much blame on the offense.

5. When our opponents offenses are having news worthy outings against our defense I have trouble blaming the offense.

6. When our offense is averaging 422 yards and 30 points per game, I have trouble blaming them.

So yea.... Empirically it is the defense.

I just found this thread, and I haven't read any of the posts, so I don't know how anybody else responded, but to compare Brees to Favre, I'd ludacris (sp). The only reason Brees looks like a cowboy out there, is because he's running for his life on EVERY play. Our ******* offensive line is just that, offensive. They suck. Hell, I can frikkin block better than they can. Give Brees 2-3 more seconds and he'll tear defenses apart. The same goes with our defensive line. They are giving quarterbacks all day long to throw. Our defensive secondary has lanes in it as big as the Mississippi River. We better get some fundamentals down, and we better get them quick.
