this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I hate to be negative but... I'm losing patience with Jenkins. He just isn't very good. Corey White should have a target painted on his chest. I think he's going to a good CB but it's going to be painful ...

Not much good happened today
I hate to be negative but...
I'm losing patience with Jenkins. He just isn't very good. Corey White should have a target painted on his chest. I think he's going to a good CB but it's going to be painful in the meantime. I was going to talk about our LBs and DBs but lets just keep it short. Our defense sucks! PT is the most under rated player in the league. What's up with Colston? Not too great a start for him this season. The O.L. is tied with LBs as the most disappointing unit on the team. Morgan is blowing his chance. None of the other WRs is exactly setting the world on fire either though. Did I mention PT is GREAT? People expect too much out of Brees. If we had any other QB we'd be leading the league in sacks given up and we'd losing games by 20 points. Thank God for Jimmy Graham and Darren Sproles. |

Jenkins is hit or miss. He can do something great one play and then stink the next.
Same thing with Corey White, Made a couple of good plays then let a couple go by. Our Defense simply SUCKS. |

We just don't look like we have a plan on defense. We are like the Obama administration. We just wait for something bad to happen and then we react. Am I wrong?

Re: Not much good happened today
White at least has the excuse of being a rookie.
And yeah Ingram looked real good. |

Re: Not much good happened today
Ingram blows, its waste of down when you give it to him.
It was about as bad as when you hand it off to Reggie Bush. |

Re: Not much good happened today
I am the President of Pessimists but I am reeeealy trying to find some perspective. So far, this is what I've got:
Graham and Moore can't continue to drop passes like this. They've got to turn it around eventually. Also, with some help from Archie's boys we could end the weekend only one game out of first thanks to the Giants win today and the Broncos playing the Failcons tomorrow. Drew Brees. Finally: we should get J-Pat back and our front 4 could still adjust to Spags' scheme and wind up improving. What have the rest of you got? |
