Didn't think I would I would have the thought of wanting Williams back
Hell or even Gibbs for that matter. Spags coaching scheme may be different but the results are worse. I don't think it is the end of the world yet. Matt Cassel is the complete opposite of a running QB like the last two we played and 1 win will work wonders for our morale. 2 positives from today are that we fixed the penalties and our running game was very good. If we can fix the drops, which is totally within our control, we will be ok. AS bad as our defense looked, if it wasn't for 6 dropped passes I saw we could have one that game. Even with Drews stupid interception.

The majority of your post has nothing to do with the topic. Just saying.

We all hated GWs blitz happy scheme and we all hated on it just the same. I'm willing to give Spags more than 2 games, because as fans what choice do we have

Keep Williams and Gibbs. Didn't care for either of them. Spags has TWO games so far as DC. I honestly didn't expect drastic results on defense the first 4-8 games this year, and neither should anyone else. Especially since he has inherited this collective bunch of underachievers on defense.

I want Payton back.
Williams not so much. I am not sure how to turn around our defense, but I know for sure that isn't it. |
