I think Howard, Grant, Leisle and Young.

Who will they be?

We have all been talking alot about the Dline lately, with the Smith signing, Sully\'s talent and all other sorts of ill Sh@@. So here\'s the questions who will be on the starting Dline for the Saints opening day?

I think Howard, Grant, Leisle and Young.
I don\'t think it matters as much as you do. Pease has a policy of rotating personell on the line anyway.

Here\'s a quote from an article on Pease here:

http://www.slidellsentry.com/article...s/sports02.txt

His (Pease) Jaguars defense was as successful as his old Saints defensive line. Pease said his policy was to rotate ends and tackles. Under that system, the Jaguars had averaged 42 sacks a year.

\"We used to rotate those guys and what would happen was that they\'d have a big series in the fourth quarter,\" Pease said. \"They\'d have something left by the end. And by the end of the season we\'d played them about one game less than a full 16-game season. So you\'re spreading out the bruises.\"
So the real questions is who will be ready to play? I think the ends will be fine as long as there are no injuries. Will Whitehead be ready? Will Sully slim, get his wind, and get some motor? Will Leslie have enough camp to grasp the scheme? Does Green have enough talent to carry the position?

At this point Young is the only sure bet The best thing that I\'ve heard about the guy so far is... nothing.

But this isn\'t an individual competition. It\'s about creating a team concept that can anchor the defense for 4 quarters a game, and 16 to 20 games during the season and postseason. And you best believe that the eight or so guys that will anchor that line will all need to be ready to play, because as we well know by now, it\'s not who starts the game (or the season), but who finishes it.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.
