this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; As bleak as things seem to be right now, he's essentially throwing in the towel after two games. I don't care if some of those things make sense... it's been two games. That's ridiculous. If you're going to call it ...

I don't care if some of those things make sense... it's been two games. That's ridiculous. If you're going to call it a season after two games, you're better off being a Falcons fan. |

He's making plenty of realistic points... I don't have an issue with that. Calling it a season is a whole different story.

Re: Forecast: 2012 Saints aren’t going anywhere special
... when they go 0-16, shoot me a PM (Mr. Marbrough). Yeah, the Saints have had more then their fair share of ups & downs, but you haven't truly 'lived' until your team loses 'em all, .
I'm still in the frame of mind that it's not Kansas City 0-2, Cleveland Browns 0-2, Jacksonville Jaguars 0-2, or even Oakland Raiders 0-2 ... there's still light at the end of that tunnel for New Orleans ... just imagine if you were 0-2 and had wasted a first round pick to have Brandon Weeden taking snaps for ya' ... there's some fans that should be singing the blues, ... the NFL is a funny place; the Cardinals are 2-0, the Jets are atop their division, the Eagles have won 'ugly' two weeks in a row by one point, St. Louis beat Washington, NE loses on a last-minute 'wide left' field goal attempt (I think Gostkowski even missed the nets!) ... it's 'bizzaro' world, that's for sure. Don't dwell on the losses (Mr. Marbrough), just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get ready for next week ... you'll live longer, eh? |

I think the thing that bothers most of us the most, is the lack of passion, the lack of integrity, the lack of pride and the lack of anger. This team is playing timid and that'll get you beat every week.

This disturbed me:
The Saints haven’t had an interception from a starting safety in 20 games. Malcolm Jenkins and Roman Harper are what they are and to expect anything different over the next 14 weeks would mean you are lying to yourself. |

I'm just frustrated. Hey, at least we can both agree on your avatar! That pretty much sums up my feelings exactly. |
