Tebucky in a Comfort Zone
Jones is more comfortable with everything in his second season as a member of the Saints. More comfortable with New Orleans. More comfortable with his coaches and teammates. More comfortable with the expectations that accompanied him after being acquired in a ballyhooed trade with New England in April 2003. And most of all, more comfortable with his streamlined body.
Jones reported to training camp at 218 pounds, the same weight he carried on his chiseled 6-foot-2 frame throughout his five-year career in New England. That's 10 pounds less than his playing weight last season. "I feel much better," Jones said. "This is the first time I've run since last year. I felt all right. There's no pressure on my back and my ankle." http://www.nola.com/saints/t-p/index...1099104810.xml |
