I think if Loomis was here to make decisions you would see us more aggressive in terms of roster moves. I think he would have least brought in a couple of receivers or lineman in for a look see. I wish these guys didn't have to serve their suspensions all at the same time.

I agree, I think we should be throwing all kinds of *** against the wall right now, to see if we find something at the bottom of the barrel that's better than what we have.
There's also something to be said for, bringing in a guy or two to work out at a certain position, early in the season like this....just so the other guys at that same position SEE HIM COME IN FOR THE WORKOUT, hear people talking about it, coaches start giving the cold shoulder to the player, so it's like...okay...I made the roster, through the last round of cuts, but I am not set here for life at this spot, it's not written in stone that I'm a starter, it's time to try harder. Even a new guy coming in 3rd string behind the backup, can push a starter to play harder. |
