I hear that Jake wants to stay, but that he\'d have to pursue a starting oppurtunity if one were presented to him. Can\'t blame him for that.

what teams do yall think that would want to sign jake? how many games has he started or played in? what team do you know of, would want to sign a pretty much untested QB to become their starter? cincy? carolina? seattle? these are all losing teams who arent going anywhere, why would jake want to leave us for them?

Everyone is wondering about keeping Jake. Why would he stay when he can go somewhere else to play. He would clearly make more somewhere else then here besides him playing for a non contender. Most of those teams are only one or 2 players away. Most of them a QB, which is what Jake is. I honestly felt more comfortable with Jake in the game Sun. then I did when Brooks was in. Im not holding anything against Brooks, but I think we should do whatever is in our power to keep Jake, he will be the key I promise you. There will be so many QB free agents and QB\'s coming out of the draft, we should all be pretty confident Jake will be back, hopefully!!!

It\'s Just An Opinion, Unless Spoken By Me!!

He\'ll be in Baltimore next year. Brian Billick\'s no fool. He saw his starter yesterday.

He will be here. There are several good QB\'s in the draft this yr for the few teams still searching for a QB. There are only a handful of teams that have not found their QB of the future the last couple yrs. Those teams would be willing to draft and let the pick learn for a yr on the bench.

You can never tell in today\'s NFL. We could get him back again but it may require some spending. On the other hand, one game does not make a QB in the NFL. Jake is a good QB but I don\'t think he will be as sought after as some people think. Even so, the Saints front office should try their best to keep him. Good backups are hard to come by nowadays and they are are a crucial part of any teams success. Most QB\'s are going to get hurt during the season and need a backup to fill in at some point (except in Green Bay). We need both our QB\'s
