As for the defense, still giving up the big play too much, and for heavens sake can we please get someone who can stop the run!? They did, however, do a good job of stiffening up and keeping them out of the endzone majority of the time.. I see some improvement out of them. I know they gave up over 500 yards but they were on the field way longer than the offense ever was. If we get one or two more scoring drives in that stat wouldn't have been so ugly. They had no help at all and frankly I'm amazed that with the exception of the long td run they consistently kept them out of the endzone.

I HATE kromer as head coach. I see NO fire or sense of urgency from him whatsoever. If he was hoping for a permanent job as hc somewhere after this year, I think he's set himself back considerably... God I can't wait to get payton back.....

I, too, am disgusted with Kromer. He has looked like a scared little boy since the preseason. No leadership, no chance. I wasn't worried about us being without Payton, because I assumed the next guy up would at least have enough fire about him to keep an extremely talented team above water. But there is no direction, whatsoever.

I cannot get over how blah everyone seems about it. I can handle a loss if it looks like they tried their best and went out swinging, but who can watch these games and say that? No one.
