this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I know everyone is probably tired of this story, but it has surfaced again: http://www.nola.com/sports/t-p/index...3448227940.xml...

A litle tidbit from chatrap on ESPN today:
What is going to happen with the Packers and Mike McKenzie?? Chris Mortensen: I think the Packers will appropriately standstill unless someone likes the Saints blows \'em away with a trade. If he wants to get paid, he\'ll show up before the season starts. |

Unless everything is not as rosy in the secondary as the coaching staff and media are letting out, it will take an season ending injury for the Saints to make a move for McKenzie now.

Now you know Vulture the Saints usually do things when we really are\'nt expecting it and this would make perfect sense. I think if the Saints and Packers agree to anything it will be a second round pick and a defensive lineman, not sure who?

Perhaps Kenny Smith could be trade bait along with a pick. In the next couple of weeks if the team begins to talk him up, I see that deal happening.
