I think our offensive woes is we using last years playbook and the play calling has become too predictable. But you know, we should of had 38 pts on the board, the refs cost up 2 TDs to. |
Re: The Spagnola Scheme
I say put the whole starting squad on the practice squad and bring up the practice squad foir a week or two. Maybe that will light a fire under their sorry ars's

Re: The Spagnola Scheme
They beat us on field position all day. That matters. It's fine and good to bow up in the red zone. How about we bow up somewhere else once or thrice?

Re: The Spagnola Scheme
4-3, 3-4 it doesn't matter if you don't have the personnel to implement that scheme. The defense is horrible and the defensive coordinator hasn't a clue on how to fix this thing.
Front 4 can't get penetration, LB or safeties can't seal the sidelines and corners can't cover. Did I miss anything feel free to comment, absolutely horrible defense and there's no one to blame but the coaches and players. |
Re: The Spagnola Scheme
Hard to argue with only 6 points allowed in the first half.
But when the offense simply can't hold onto the ball and develop any kind of steady drive to eat some clock/rest the D in the second half, lots of teams would come back on a defense asked to do so much, especially if your main offensive weapon is JC. That said it would've been nice to see them hunker down and just stop KC on that last drive to the winning FG, tired or not. Memories of ATL last year... |
Re: The Spagnola Scheme
Well, if Ingram is activated again this week and not Ivory, I'm not even gonna watch the game.
|
Re: The Spagnola Scheme
**** Ingram.
I am tired of seeing him get the ball, like I said in preseason, all he does is running straight into the backs of the O-line and picks up hardly any yards, he gets tackled on first contact. Waste of a 1st round pick last year. |
Re: The Spagnola Scheme
Need to give Cadet a shot and if does well this makes Ingram trade bait. We already know what Ivory can do, and yes I agree activate Ivory.

Re: The Spagnola Scheme
I this year is going to be lost with all else going on might as well use it to learn his scheme the entire year
better prepared next year |
Re: The Spagnola Scheme
I think one BIG problem other than personnel is that the players are "thinking" to much. They aren't just playing ball. I think maybe Spags needs to dumb it down a bit. Maybe some things are starting to change. We seen a lot more Galette and Knicks this last game.
