NFC South schedule easiest in NFL.
If you rank the divisions from each conference, I get... I ranked the division before I came up with the results... 1-AFC-E Best in AFC 2-AFC-S 3-AFC-N 4-AFC-W Worst in AFC 1-NFC-S Best in NFC (plays nfc-1, afc-4 and nfc-4) = 9 2-NFC-E (plays nfc-2, afc-3, and nfc-3) = 8 3-NFC-N (plays nfc-3, afc-2, and nfc-2) = 7 4-NFC-W Worst in NFC (plays nfc-4, afc-1, and nfc-1) = 6 I know things change alot from season to season but I thought it was interesting when I did this little experiment that the NFC South actually has the easiest schedule based on my strength of division projections. And given the above, the Saints play most of the tough teams at home against teams with LOUSY road records (Denver, KC, and Seattle) What does it mean? Not a whole freaking lot I'll admit, but maybe that the wildcards will come from the NFC-S and NFC-E. Food for thought while we await yet another rosey camp report. |
