Admitting this to those who might understand

I was sitting in my offive yesterday when the phone rang. As usual I checked the caller id so that I wouldn't have to deal with some salesperson trying to sell me one of the endless number of things I don't need for my office.

Anyway, this time the ID reported the number and "Canton, OH" as the origin of the call. Again, normally I wouldn't answer this and let the machine handle it. But...

Even though I didn't want to answer, the idea popped into my head that this could be the Hall of Fame calling with news that I had won a free trip to the HOF Game and I couldn't resist. I mean, who could?

Sadly, it turned out to be some salesperson from stamps.com trying to get me to overpay for my postage. :casstet:
The dream died there.

I just wanted to admit this delusional behavior in the hopes that one of you would admit similarly silly behavior and let me know that I'm not alone here in la-la land.
