Opening statement: “Turk McBride, left ankle, did not practice. David Hawthorne, hamstring, did not practice. Jonathan Casillas, neck, did not practice. Everybody else was full.”

What are your thoughts on the officials?

“I’d love to have a lot of thoughts on that but I have plenty of things to think about myself. All we are worried about right now is how we are getting better and how we are going to win a game and go up to Green Bay and have our best performance. I really don’t have any comment on any officials.”

After reviewing the tape, looking at Green Bay, what are some of the things that you see that you can exploit offensively?

“They’re a very talented group. We went up there last year in the first game of the season and we had a pretty productive day. We got down early and came back. Drew (Brees) did a nice job of passing the ball around and getting us back in the game and we have to go up there with our best effort.”

How much of a green light does Darren Sproles have returning kicks from the end zone?

“When you see elite returners around the league, and I consider Darren Sproles an elite returner, they’re going to take it from nine yards deep now. Moving the (kickoff) line up, you’re going to get the ball deeper and Darren has had his fair share of bringing it past the 20 (yard line). We have to continue to do a good job blocking for him. We feel like Darren can take one to the house and it’s important that he has opportunities to do it.”

Am I the only one who could care less about what the heck Kromer has to say?

Jeez man. I never thought I'd miss Joe Vitt so much.

I have nothing against Coach Kromer.

Re: Aaron Kromer Discusses Playing The Packers At Lambeau Field

The guy is trying to keep it together and is put in a very difficult situation, no reason to hate on him. It's not like Jim Caldwell, where the owners said HE IS THE GUY and the fans said "he is an empty suit" and he turned out to be an empty suit. If Benson had fired Payton and Vitt and been like KROMER IS THE MAN OF THE SAINTS FUTURE then I would be absolutely screaming and hollering about it right now. But that isn't what happened, so just relax.

I do think the Sproles kickoff thing is contributing to our woes, however. Bad enough to start every drive on the 20, but on the 9? The 13? He may want to run it out, but the blocking is not there, just like it was never there for Roby, and Sproles is not going to break one to the house anytime soon. Kromer is wrong about that.

Re: Aaron Kromer Discusses Playing The Packers At Lambeau Field

What the heck did Kromer do to you guys? He's the flipping interim to the interim coach! What did you expect, he's the o-line coach, never been a head coach in his life, he has a weak defense that needs electrocution to get going, and an offense that are ALL head cases who only listen to their psychiatrist Sean Payton.

The guy risked his career to accept the job. He'll always be known as the interim to the interim and he'll always be judged by losing while Sean Payton is out.

That said, I think this game is again going to be brutal to watch as a fan. If our defense cannot get pressure on Aaron Rogers they need to go stick their heads in a meat grinder. Look, I know the Seahag defense is superior, but 3 weeks of Rogers dancing around back there SHOULD become 4 weeks. If not.... meat grinder!

He's a great O-line coach who has been placed in an impossible position. It was not a good idea to start with, I have nothing against him.
