Truthfully, if this games is a blow-out, I feel like it will be the Packers doing it.

Me too Saintfan. Me too. And don't feel bad about the negativity, it's hard not to be that way. We've been spoiled. I have a tendency to be negative about things Saints related too, which is why I am desperately grasping for positivity!!!!!!!!!!!!

Defense please, just get some compression on the pocket and force Rodgers to make decisions quickly because its gonna be tough to cover their receiving corps for long, they're deep and talented. Hopefully we don't get gashed by Cedric either

Yeah, "Deschanel Downer" over here's been preaching 0-16! I say once we win 117-3 this Sunday, we restrain him "Clockwork Orange" style and make him watch Aaron Brooks highlights until his Saints fandom becomes satisfactory again. :)

I get the frustration. Heck, I'm frustrated too, so I ain't gonna hate on anybody. I certainly expected better than an 0-3 start, and I think we all did.

But 0-3 is where we are now. Painful as it is, just gotta re-examine our expectations for the season. Sure, we could still sneak into the playoffs, and anything can happen from there. Realistically, I'm just looking for a little improvement from week to week. If this is destined to be a down year, it ain't like it's our first one ...

I saw it in another thread ... "They're not a bad team, they're a good team playing bad" ... that's where I'm at. They've been through a lot and they still have more to work through. They're not the kind of team that is going to be kept down forever and that will eventually come forward ... hopefully this weekend. I'm taking 'em as a 'spoiler' pick every week from now until they get it together.

I can't 100% disagree with you. I feel the same- if we didn't get fired up after week 1 and with our backs against the wall at home last week, well...

I don't think that makes this year a waste, however. IMHO- it may give us a year to improve on defense and hopefully when SP is back our O can get back to how they're suppose to look.

Ingram needs to show he's a good RB, pierre and sproles can both make good runs consistently, why not ingram

Yeah, you can't listen to that. Clearly you are still posting, you haven't left the team, but you're being honest. We don't look good, plain and simple. Until we look better I am not hyping the hey we are going to beat this team. We just lost to the Chefs at home. Does anyone realize this, the Chefs!!!! They are horrible!!

WTF are you talking about? We have lost to 3 of the worst teams in the league. 2 of those losses at home. Be realistic. We are not good. Do I hope something changes, sure. Do I think it will, no I really don't. It isn't like we are just playing bad, our Oline has been subpar- as has our dline. Can't win not giving drew time. If not for the 2 short fields provided by turnovers last week, we might not have scored more than 10 points. We are being out-coached. There are so many issues that I don't see anything changing. We are a bad team.

Yes, you are right- anything can happen, but I wouldn't go mortgaging the house on it- unless you are prepared that more than likely you will be living outdoors. I love being wrong when the result is the Saints winning. I hope we win. It is definitely possible. I am not counting on it though. My guess- we're getting routed. We'll put up BS yards late, again, meaningless scores, again, but we will be soundly beaten when it matters. If this Oline doesn't straighten up- Drew might not survive the game.
