Graham still has fire and he's still playing as hard...

Here's the problem with drops, same as interceptions and all stats - you have to watch the game to see what's going on so that accurate analysis can be done...

He's overworked - he's used to suck the defense in and then the other options begin to open up...the Joe Morgan TD - watch the previous plays and see how GB was set up...

J Graham is one of the few good things happening to this team right now...

Re: Jimmy Graham

I do watch the games every play and he has dropped many passes that he usually catches. The stat is the stat. He has been dropping for him a high amount of balls. It's unusual.

I 100% disagree with you on this. JG has dropped a few passes nothing to get fired up over that. Plus it's just not the same when you're 0-4 and the other teams just has to point to the score boards...

We start winning the Beast Jimmy Graham will come back out

Re: Jimmy Graham

It looks like he is hearing footsteps, I have always worried about the big hits he takes and I think the one against Washington has stayed with him.

So he only gets fired up if we are winning. We were winning 24-6 against kc and I didnt see anything. It's more than that. I think he is hiding an injury, maybe his back or the huge collisions are taking a toll.

Re: Jimmy Graham

Ok I am not bashing him. Something is off it seems. No matter what he is still top tight end in league. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a concussion week 1.

Re: Jimmy Graham

I love Jimmy Graham, one of my favorite Saints, no question about it, so don't get me wrong here for pointing it out -- but sometimes, it seems to me like he is sorta disappearing from games after he gets his touchdown and does the dunk. I blogged about it, originally as kind of a joke -- but people's comments in this thread like "disappearing in the second half" and "doesn't look like he's trying out there" "looks like his fire is gone" are all kinda interesting comments to me. I feel like he generally looks on fire in the beginning of games, completely "normal" insane Jimmy Graham. Then in the 2nd half and end of games, I dunno, it feels sorta like I'm not hearing his name a lot. I can't put my finger on it, or figure it out. But he looks AMAZING early in the games, same as always, to me. It could maybe be a hidden injury that catches up to him, or defensive adjustments during the game, or something else.

...or we just didn't make a big effort to get him the ball in the second half. He can't make plays if they ball isn't being thrown to him.

Re: Jimmy Graham

He has taken some big licks. When he is one of maybe two weapons the opposition has to make adjustments for usually, it's easy to make him less of a factor. Who didn't know Brees was going to throw the quick slant to him on the goal line?

Re: Jimmy Graham

Graham looks like he is in a tunnel. That's what happens if you get a concussion. Everything is slowed down.
