First Cuts

Does anyone know when the First and Second cuts are?

NFL cut down dates are as such:

August 31st------- must cut down to 65

September 5th----must cut down to 53

Trading deadline is October 19th.

I was thinking about this post all morning and just had to say it, the dates are important but what is really important is who we cut. Is it a sign what\'s been happening to former Saint\'s players over the past few weeks? It appears the Saint\'s organization now has the knowledge and experience to cut the right personnel?

Let\'s hope so, because we are going to have to make some tough decisions to get the roster to 53 with an 8 man practice squad.
