Re: Payton's Absence Hitting Hard
Hopefully we get Vilma back for the end of the season and he can become a leader in the locker room, and maybe he can regain his old form for next year

Herr Goodell usually lightens suspensions for those that do exactly what he tells them to do during the suspension. Sean Payton has behaved and hasn't broken his suspension at all. Would be nice if he could come back with at least a couple wins there. It's not impossible. |

No It is not over, we will outscore 31 of 32 teams if we play like this. And on any given Sunday we could beat GB too. I guarantee GB does NOT want to meet us in the playoffs, we gave there #1 passing defense fits.

Re: Payton's Absence Hitting Hard
I like the positive thread. Don't think Vilma is the answer, however. Although I'll take a 50% Vilma over a 100% Shanle any day.

I'm not hoping too much, but I think it's entirely within the realm of possibility that we may get Coach Payton back from Herr Goodell as a Christmas present. ESPECIALLY if the team keeps cratering, and it becomes an embarrassment. Smart people "out there" who know the game, they see these close losses and how Drew's playing, and they know that we (the innocent fans) are being screwed.
