The only team to have started 0-4 and went to the playoffs:

1992 San Diego Chargers

The '92 Chargers came roaring back from their initial deficit and ended up with a 11-5 record, even with two losses against the division runner-up Chiefs. They then proceeded to beat them in the Wild Card round. The Chargers eventually lost to Miami that year but what a run.

The next team to go to the playoffs after a 0-4 start:

2012 New Orleans Saints

Even the Giants had a 4-game losing streak during their run last year. It all starts for us next Sunday with a win against the Chargers. Remember, there is no place like home.

Interestingly, Old John Carney played for that '92 team.
