New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo: "Saints keep losing game of inches"
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Yeah all those ones against the Chiefs still irk me -- 4th and 5 ,they go for it and get it...then had them at 3rd and 13, and they get it....3rd and 5, delay of game penalty makes it 3rd ...

Yeah all those ones against the Chiefs still irk me -- 4th and 5 ,they go for it and get it...then had them at 3rd and 13, and they get it....3rd and 5, delay of game penalty makes it 3rd and 1, then they get it...3rd and 12 they give up 11...then on 4th and 1, they go for it and get it...then against the Pack, on the fake punt they need one yard and get 5....hate to tell you Spags but that's not a game of inches. If they go for it on 4th down and then the refs need to call for the chains and measure to see if they actually got it, THAT'S when you are playing a game of inches my friend.
