Bucs have released Jeff Charleston
Should we re-sign him?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers just announced they have signed tight end Nate Byham and released defensive end Jeff Charleston. Byham is known as a strong blocker and that’s something the Bucs didn’t have at tight end through the first four games. He also played at the University of Pittsburgh with current Tampa Bay tight ends coach Brian Angelichio. NFC South evening update - NFC South Blog - ESPN |

All Graham needs is a good jolt of electrocution and he's good to go. |

Yes sign him and cut McBride. At least Charleston gets his uniform dirty now and then.

If he can put any semblance of pressure on the qb, that would be an improvement. Give him another shot!

Re: Bucs have released Jeff Charleston
The parts of him playing I saw this preseason when he was with the Vikes didn't impress me at all - he had problems creating pass rush against 3rd and 4th string O-linemen, which I guess was why they didn't hesitate to cut him initially.
I don't think he'd bring anything worthwhile to the table, so I don't think they should sign him. |

Pick up a guy that we let go for what we currently have?
