this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; .. What will the narrative be regarding the first four games of the season? I'm sure there will be some revisionist history but I think the one thing everyone will say is that we were in it till the last ...

If the Saints turn this around
.. What will the narrative be regarding the first four games of the season? I'm sure there will be some revisionist history but I think the one thing everyone will say is that we were in it till the last play of each game. That's got to go for something.

You can't expect any CBs to cover NFL caliber WRs forever, and that's how long our D-line is giving the opposing QBs to throw. Aaron freaking Rodgers didn't even complete a single pass over twenty yards so give the guy some credit |

(a little 66yd play) That wasn't the DLine's fault, leaving the #1 threat on the field uncovered when there is only you and him on that side of the field = epic fail!![]()
Yes, the DLine is horrible at getting any push and CBs can't cover forever but when every QB knows to throw your way for a sure 5-7 yds you are failing as a CB. And I give him all the credit for the pick on Rodgers but I can't seem to forget the utter miss the week before in the KC game. I can only hope that he pans out the way you guys believe he will but so far, history is not on your side. |

The only guy that I have seen that is playing good is Curtis Lofton, but he can't do it all. We need some serious help on D. |

I like Robinson. I think he's got what it takes, and doesn't have an ounce of quit in him.

Re: If the Saints turn this around
I don't care if you had Willie Brown and Nnamdi Asomugha in their primes at the corners, our defensive woes start with the poor play up front!
And as far as Patrick Robinson, he's done more than the other first round picks of the Saints in recent history... |
